The Dubai World Cup is the annual horse racing event in Dubai with the largest prize pool in the world for the winners. It marks the end of the Dubai racing calendar and is a huge event in the year for Dubai. Held at the Meydan race course, the racing season runs typically from November to March.
I really love the racing season and the World Cup as well. There is something for everyone with prices starting at very low AED 5 for entry during the normal season, making it easily accessible.
Then we also have the Jebel Ali racecourse which is less well known. Located in Al Barsha, the course also holds regular events during the horse racing season.
