Lego Land Dubai Details
One of the unique features of Legoland Dubai is its use of Lego bricks and figures throughout the park, creating a playful and immersive environment that stimulates children’s imagination and creativity. From the colorful entrance made of giant Lego bricks to the life-size Lego sculptures of famous landmarks, such as the Burj Khalifa and the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Legoland Dubai showcases the versatility and ingenuity of Lego as a building material.
Lego Land Dubai Themes
The park is divided into six themed lands with attractions and activities. These include:
- Factory: This is the first zone visitors encounter when they enter the park. It provides an interactive tour of how Lego bricks are made and allows visitors to create personalized Lego figures.
- Lego City: This zone simulates a miniature city where children can experience different professions, such as firefighter, pilot, or builder. It features rides such as the Driving School, where children can learn how to drive their mini-cars, and the Rescue Academy, where they can work as a team to put out a simulated fire.
- Imagination: This zone celebrates creativity and invention, inviting children to explore their artistic side through various Lego-themed activities. The highlights of this zone include the Build & Test area, where children can construct and race their own Lego cars, and the Duplo Playground, a safe and colorful space for toddlers to play and learn.
- Adventure: This zone takes visitors on a journey through different lands and cultures, from ancient Egypt to the Wild West. It features rides such as the Beetle Bounce, a vertical drop tower that simulates a bug’s jump, and the Lost Kingdom Adventure, an interactive dark ride where visitors can shoot lasers at targets and collect treasure.
- Kingdoms: This zone recreates the medieval world of knights, castles, and dragons. It features the Dragon Coaster, a thrilling roller coaster that takes riders through a dragon’s lair, and the Merlin’s Flying Machines, a ride that simulates the experience of flying on a broomstick.
- Miniland: This zone is a miniature replica of famous landmarks and buildings worldwide made of Lego bricks. It includes models of the Burj Khalifa, the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the Taj Mahal, and the Eiffel Tower, among others. Visitors can also interact with the models by pressing buttons that activate animations and sound effects.
Live Shows, Rides, And Attractions
Apart from the themed lands, Legoland Dubai offers several live shows and events that add to the park’s festive atmosphere. These include the Lego Friends’ live performance, where visitors can sing and dance with the Lego characters, and the Lego Ninjago Laser Training Camp, where visitors can practice their ninja skills and compete against each other.
The park features more than 20 rides and attractions, including the LEGO Wave Pool, a family-friendly wave pool that produces gentle waves. Another popular attraction is the Build-A-Raft River, where visitors can build LEGO rafts and float along the lazy river. There is also a water park at Lego Land Dubai, and you can find more details about it in an earlier post HERE.
